What is Math Fighter?

Math Fighter is a math game for kids where you fight with numbers. A question appears, you tap the right answer, and your fighter lands the attack. Wrong answers give the opponent a chance to strike back.

It works as a mental math game and as times tables practice: addition, subtraction, multiplication and division come up again and again, in short rounds that feel like a match rather than homework.

The game is made for children in grades 1 to 6, and adults who want to keep their mental arithmetic sharp can play too. It is free to start, with an optional Pro subscription.

How a round of Math Fighter works

A match is quick to learn, so even young players can start without help.

Pick an opponent and a level

Choose VS Computer, two players on one device, or online play. Then set the difficulty and the number of rounds (1, 3 or 5).

Read the question

Both fighters start with 100 HP. A math problem appears, with a timer bar running and a streak counter for correct answers in a row.

Tap the right answer

Pick one of the answer buttons. A correct answer lands a hit; a wrong one lets the opponent strike back.

Win the match

The first fighter down to 0 HP loses. Then start the next round, try a harder level or move on to the Math Dojo.

What kids practise with this mental math game

Math Fighter is built around repetition with feedback, which is how mental math becomes automatic.

Times tables and multiplication

At Hard level, multiplication and division join the mix, so times tables practice happens as part of the fight instead of as a drill.

Mental math under light time pressure

The timer bar encourages quick recall. At Easy level, addition and subtraction stay up to 10; Medium goes up to 100.

Step-by-step progress with belts

The Math Dojo has 8 belts from White to Black Belt 2nd Dan. Each belt unlocks after the one before it, with an interactive lesson from Sensei Suken.

Personal help from an AI math tutor

The AI tutor gives step-by-step lessons at grade level, shows visuals such as fractions as pizza slices, and offers example questions and practice fights.

Math in real life

Math Discovery links numbers to the real world, with topics such as temperature, time and clocks, money, Pythagoras and James Watt.

Who is Math Fighter for, and how often should kids play?

Parents of children in grades 1 to 6 can use Math Fighter as a playful extra next to schoolwork, for example to practise the times tables before a test. Kindergarten mode covers number recognition and counting for the youngest.

Short, regular sessions work better than one long one. A few rounds a day is a sensible habit; sit next to your child at first and let them pick the level that feels challenging but doable.
